The Results of Moscow Contest of Guides and Guide-Interpreters are Known
The contest "Moscow masters 2014", jointly organized byMoscomtourism and the Association of guides-interpreters, guides and tour managers was held in several rounds.
In the first round the contest jury has estimated the methodological basis of the work of competitors, in the second one - the presentation of walking tours around the city submitted to the contest.
The third and final round was the "field" trial. Each contestant was presenting his tour to the jury members who acted as guests of Moscow asking tricky and difficult questions.
The contest 2014 was held in two categories: "The Best Tour Guide" and "The Best Guide-interpreter". By the results of all three rounds the winners of "Moscow masters-2014" were determined at the final session of the jury.
The title "The Best Tour Guide" was won by Svetlana Patrikeeva. The second place was awarded to Galina Sagaidak, the third one – to Ekaterina Nadolskaya (at the photo).
The title "The Best Guide-interpreter" was won by Tatiana Shevchenko. The following places were given to Olga Rybakova and Oksana Rafalyuk.
The contest "Moscow masters" in tourist categories is held for the second year in a row in order to increase the prestige of guide and guide-interpreter occupation, achieve high quality of information and excursion services in Moscow and develop innovative advanced technologies in tourism.
