Already for the sixth time the international music festival "The Voice of nomads" will be held in Buryatia.

From July 10 to 13, 2014, the greatest artists from 12 countries, representing a colorful range of music from around the world, will go to Ulan-Ude.

There will be Balkan-gypsy melodies and Mongolian punk-folk, Chinese voodoo disco-psycho-rock, Afro-fusion and sunny reggae, trendy indie rock, "the music of psychedelic mermaids and gnomes", electronic  music, jazz, avant-garde and much more!

Started in 2009 as a local celebration of ethnomusic, "The Voice of nomads" has developed into one of the largest world music festivals over the Urals. The idea of "The Voice" is based on nomadic culture as a symbol of movement and freedom, that is why the festival is open to experiments in the field of ethnic music. Its participants are gifted musicians and vocalists who create contemporary music art on the basis of folk music.
