The city of Chelyabinsk is makimg preparations for major folklore and gastronomic festival. “Ural dumplings” forum will be held in the capital of the region in the middle of December.
The festivity is timed with Nickolin day and follows Russian tradition of trades and fairs that took place ahead of the New Year on a large scale.

The park named after Gagarin will be the festival venue. Spectators will be presented with performances of folk groups and fist fightings. In dumpling trade rows everyone can not just try the food yet to vote in favour of the treat one would like more.

The farmers of the region will bring their products to the fair. Those include not only dumplings, but village geese, pickles and “kurniks” (pies with chicken meat).
