From February 24 to March 2 at pedestrian zones in the center of Moscow (in Kamergersky  Lane, at KuznetskyBridge, at the square in front of Central Department Store and Novopushkinsky park at Pushkin Square) Pancake Festival will take place.

Some thirty cafes, restaurants and bakeries of the capital will participate in the event. Below there is small menu of traditional Maslenitsa treat that will be offered to the residents and visitors to the city:
- traditional Russian pancakes with sour cream, jam, honey, butter
- Norwegian pancakes with smoked salmon, cheese, dill
- Indonesian pancakes with chocolate and bananas as well as with coconut flakes
- German pancakes with sausage (sort of hot-dogs)
- pancakes-waffles
- French pancakes
- waffles with spinach, tropical jam, salmon, apples and honey
- pancakes with ice-cream and the special Olympic taste of Baskin Robbins
- pies with various fillings
- painted gingerbread

- hot and cold drinks
Also, during the festival master classes on cooking pancakes, waffles, painting of gingerbread will take place. In addition, the charity project HandMadeCharity will hold cooking lessons for children from disadvantage families.
