"The main task of our military and historical festival, said Ms. Karpova, is not only to reward the memory of the heroes of recently half-forgotten battle, but also to promote the tourist attraction, awareness of our area among tourists. After all, the area is not merely the place of the battle at Molody, but Chekhov’s place Melikhovo, the estate of the family of Vasilchikovs Lopasnya - Zachatyevsk that is associated with the names of Pushkin, Lansky and Goncharov, the famous monastery of Ascension, the holy deserts of David with miraculous spring in the village of Talezh. Are there many places like in the region around Moscow?"
