The festivalof  blacksmith masters The Forged Fantasy that will be attended by craftsmen from Kuban and neighbouringStavropol area will take place in the city of Novokubanskin Krasnodar region at the coming weekend, the region administration says.
The festivity will be staged at the city square of arts where the audience will see the dramatized  legends. The parade of blacksmiths and master classes from blacksmith professionals will take place there as well.
Anyone wishing during the days of the festival may stand by an anvil and, if lucky, go home with a self-made horseshoe for good luck, the reportsays.
It is noted that in the days of the festival inNovokubanskpark of culture and rest the new wrought-iron arch presented to the city by local craftsmen - the participants of the festival – will be solemnly opened. It is expected that the arch will be the first one in a series of works by Kuban blacksmiths with which the provincial city will be decorated.
By the opinion of  the organizers, the holding of such festivals will help to revive and preserve the ancient craft as a form of art as well as introduce cultural values to the people of Kuban and involve them with the multi-age history of hammer and anvil
