The interest for regional products grows every day. What other country can boast such a variety of local cuisines as Russia?

In the capital a large fair takes place dedicated to gastronomic features of the regions of Russia and CIS countries. The scope of the festival-fair encompasses four areas of production: meat and dairy products, fruit and vegetables, delicatessen.

The participants and spectators will be treated to food tasting, contests, concerts and theater performances.

Each evening (at weekend twice a day) the festival "Mosgastronom" features thematic cooking master classes with the participation of Moscow chefs.

The festival takes place at 70 venues across the capital. In the center of the city six thematic sites operate: on Tverskaya Square, for example, one may find everything for a healthy low-calorie lunch, at Manezh square – a variety of delicacies, in Klimentovsky lane – one may take part in "merchant's tea party."

The festival "Mosgastronom" will last till September 28, 2014.
