The Lecture Hall “My italics” to Open Winter Season with the History of Rivalry between Bunin and Nabokov
On November 30 in Gogol House in Moscow the first event of the lecture hall “My italics” in the winter season will be held – the lecture "Bunin and Nabokov: the history of rivalry".
The lecture author is Maxim Schreyer, Russian and American novelist, poet and literary critic who has released this year the book under the same title.
When he has completed many years of his research on the subject, Maxim Schreyer has opened new unexpected facts that will be presented by him for the first time in Moscow.
The lecture hall “My italics” is the new project thought up as "the combination of pleasure and usefulness": the cognitive aspect of the lecture will be "packed" into an exciting form of presentation.
In winter, lectures will be held weekly, on Sundays, at Nikitsky Boulevard, in Gogol House with the participation of the nominees and laureates of the prestigious awards in the field of Russian literature, history and geography as well as travelers and honoured experts in their field.
