The II All-Russia open fair of event tourism "Russian Open Event Expo 2014" with the presentation of event activities of municipal bodies of Russian Federation took place in Moscow at the exhibition center "Gostiny Dvor" from May 15 to 17, 2014.

Within the frames of the Fair the II All-Russia competition in the field of event tourism was held.

Competition programme has encompassed 13 nominations.

The organizers: Ministry of culture of Russian Federation, Committee on tourism and hotel economy of the city of Moscow, ANO "Moscow Directorate of festival and concert projects concerning bard songs "Stolny Grad".

At correspondence stage of the competition 247 applications were received. The competition participants included 54 subjects of Russian Federation, 122 municipal bodies and the Republic of Belarus. To the second round of the competition 153 projects were admitted.

1ST PLACE – the Administration of the city of Ulan-Ude, the Republic of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude Annual festival of extreme sports “Adrenalin Fest 2014”

The NOMINATION "HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION"

1ST PLACE – Saratov museum of regional studies, the city of Saratov – Open Saratov Festival of historical reconstruction clubs "The Living History of Uvek 2014"

The NOMINATION "ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE"

1ST PLACE – LLC "GESPROMO", Krasnodar region, the city of Yeisk – Festival of active holiday and dance music «A-ZOV»

The NOMINATION "ECOLOGICAL TOURISM"

1ST PLACE – State Committee for culture of Pskov region, the city of Pskov – the project "Honey Festival"

THE LEADER OF EVENT TOURISM

1ST PLACE – Tula region; 2ND PLACE – Republic of Buryatia; 3RD PLACE – Nizhny Novgorod region.

THE CAPITAL OF EVENT TOURISM

1ST PLACE – the city of Kaluga; 2ND PLACE – the city of Asbest, Sverdlovsk region; 3RD PLACE – the city of Grozny, Chechen Republic.
