“Terenyga Melodies” were Heard in Ulyanovsk Region
The V International Festival-Competition of harmonica and accordion players "Terenyga melodies" was held on July 26 in the working village of Terenyga in Ulyanovsk region – reports the Ministry of arts and cultural policy of Ulyanovsk region.
The festival is dedicated to the creativity of the native of the village of Goryushka (nowadays – the village of Gavrylovka) in Terenyga area – Alexander Danilov. In 2014 it is 113 years’ anniversary of the birthday of brilliant virtuoso accordionist, teacher and member of the jury of music competitions.
The event guests were welcomed by representatives of the regional Ministry of arts and cultural policy, the Legislative Assembly of Ulyanovsk region and local administration.
In 2014, the participants of “Terenyga melodies" were invited to compete in two categories – "Solo "and" Ensemble" as well as for the Grand Prix of the festival and the Audience Award.
