In Bryansk region a new project "The Festival of Museums" dedicated to the year of Culture in Russia is about to start.

The joint project is presented by four museums: GAUK "The Museum of Dyatkovo crystal", GAUK "The State Memorial History and Literature Museum-reserve of F.I. Tyutchev "Ovstug’, GAUK “The Memorial complex "Partizanskaya polyana” (the Guerrilla clearing) and GAUK “Bryansk regional artistic museum and exhibition center”.

The aim of the project is to attract the maximum number of population from different strata to explore the museums of Bryansk region, learn about their operation and unique exhibitions.

The project "The Festival of Museums" starts at the Museum of Dyatkovo crystal with celebratory opening on May 15 – on the International Day of Family - and will continue under the motto "The whole family goes to the museum".

Visitors will be offered with "passport" in which they are asked to stamp verification of their visits to the museums – participants of the action. The most active vistors will be awarded by prizes.

The project will go on through the year 2014.

GAUK "The State Memorial History and Literature Museum-reserve of F.I. Tyutchev "Ovstug" invites from July 15 to September 14, 2014.

GAUK "The Memorial complex "Partizanskaya polyana" invites from September 15 to November 14, 2014.

GAUK "Bryansk regional artistic museum and exhibition center" invites from November 15 to December 31.
