On July 18 the State Museum-reserve "Rostov Kremlin" for the first time holds the Festival of Rostov enamel.

The event is preceded by the exhibition "The Anniversaries in Rostov enamel (2012-2014)".

In exhibition hall of the Enamel museum works by famous artists are exhibited – of those painters and jewelers who would have or currently have jubilee anniversaries of their birthdays: from sixty to one hundred and forty years old.

The exhibition has brought togerther genuine exhibits – enamel, as well as copies of preparatory drawings and sketches accompanying enamel, the exhibition also features photographs that illustrate the historical context of the development of the trade.

In some cases, spectators are offered with unique opportunity to see the process of enamel miniature development: from a sketch to a finished enamel miniature.

The celebration programme will begin by a concert of bell chimes. Kremlin guests will be able to visit the exhibition-fair presenting items of enamel, take part in exciting master-classes.

By the doorsteps of the Red Chamber summer cafe will operate where one may taste Rostov kvas and mead.

The museum visitors will become participants of the lottery, in which items of Rostov enamel masters will become prizes.

The celebration programme will be crowned by a concert of jazz music.
