By the grand show in the very heart of the capital, on the Red Square, the Fifth International Military and musical festival SpasskayaTower will start on September 1, said ITAR -TASS.
"At the festival site in the next eight days 1.6 thousand military musicians and representatives of the departments responsible for the security of heads of states will perform. The number of countries participating in the festival this year has increased. Usually representatives from 10-12 come to us. During the festival history the number of countries - participants has exceeded 50, - told reporters Sergei Smirnov, head of the Directorate of the festival, prior to the opening of Spasskaya tower. - Despite the adverse weather conditions, we expect to welcome more than 60 thousand spectators. I hope that television and Internet audience of the festival will be close to a hundred million viewers around the world".
According to the music director of the festival, Lieutenant-General Valery Khalilov, viewers will see completely new programme. "Although some countries perform at the festival several times like, for example , France, Finland, always new bands with new repertoire are coming. Large united choir that comprises some 400 people will perform at the festival. It will perform the ancient Russian song . The different genres - classical, pop, rock - will be presented that our  young people like", - said Valery Khalilov in an interview with press.
In those days in front of the numerous audiences of Spasskaya Tower the musical art groups from Austria, Belarus, Great Britain, China, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Slovenia, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan and other countries will demonstrate their arts.
Russia is represented by the Presidential Orchestra of Moscow Kremlin Commandant under the  Federal Security Service of Russian Federation, the Honourary Cavalry escort of  the President's Regiment, the Central Band of the Naval named after Rimsky-Korsakov and other music groups. To Moscow festival its constant participant the famous French singer Mireille Mathieu has promised to come.
In the days of Spasskaya Tower the visitors to the Red Square will enjoy joint performances by  Kremlin horse riding school and Cavalry escort of honour of the President’s Regiment as well as Children group of horse ceremonial. Daily the spectators can admire the stunning fireworks.
The InternationalFestivalSpasskayaTower has become the certain hallmark of Russia . Annually it confirms its high level following the best traditions of world movement Military Tattoo. Since 2010 SpasskayaTower is the member of the International Association of military festivals IATO – the community that brings together the world's largest military music forums.
