Moscow International Travel Fair will be held from May 15 to 17 May 2014 in “Gostiny Dvor” complex
That is the only travel fair in Moscow aimed at the end-user. In 2011, the fair has successfully changed its format and become the fair-sale of tours.
The fair pursues two main objectives: to demonstrate the unique tourist opportunities of Moscow (starting from tourism infrastructure, attractions and memorable places to exclusive event and sightseeing projects); to make it possible for representatives of tourist industry of the world to introduce traveling to any place on the planet, national culture, traditions, events and cuisine of different countries to Muscovites.
Within the frames of Moscow international travel fair the Fair of event and youth tourism, the Festival of national cuisines, the presentation of the project "Fairy-tale brands of Russia", "Day of Moscow" event will be held.
The thematic sections of the fair - "Event tourism", "Active tourism", "Cultural and educational tourism", "Children and family holidays", "Medical tourism", "Religious tourism and pilgrimage", "Social tourism", "Ecotourism" will continue to function.
At the same time the new section, "The City of Masters", representing folk and art crafts of Russia will open.
In 2013 the fair has brought together representatives from more than 500 companies of 53 regions of Russia and 30 countries. More than 200 representatives of Russian and foreign mass media were covering the event. The fair was visited by some 33,000 people.
