On June 21 in the village of Sozonovo in Sosnovsky district of Nizhny Novgorod region the II inter-regional festival-competition of decorative and applied arts "Patchwork Mosaic" will take place.

The event is as funny and colourful as patches themselves are.

The participants are going to show the opportunites that patchwork sewing offers: quilts, bedspreads, pillow covers, tunics, shirts, tablecloths, mats can be made of them – and all come in bright, easy and slightly light-minded way.

The celebration programme, its participants fully match their works. Even contests will be held for pleasure only, not for the sake of intense struggle.

Fashion designers, creative teams, critics of arts, teachers, personnel of museums and crafts centers, fans of patchwork sewing will become the festival participants.

Everyone may take part in master classes.

The summer holiday will be enlivened by performances of dance and music ensembles.
