The popular Chelyabinsk Instrumental Ensemble "Maestro accordion" took part in the XI International Festival "Harmonica - the soul of Russia" in Moscow and became its laureate.

At the festival the spectators are presented with accordions, button accordions and their varieties - bandoneons, English concertina, Eletsk piano accordion, lip  harmonicas. Among the distinctive features of the festival one may note the joint participation of both professional musicians and amateur musicians.
The musicians from Moscow, Kaliningrad, Rostov, Ufa as well as from Italy, UK and Belarus took part in the festival.

Chelyabinsk Quartet "Maestro accordion” has performed at the festival opening ceremony by  presenting its solo programme at the Concert Hall of the theater and concert center of Pavel Slobodkin on Old Arbat.

The project is organized by the Museum of Russian Harmonica of Alfred Mirek and association The Museum of Moscow History with the support of Culture Department of the city of Moscow.
