In Kabardino-Balkaria, on March 22,the festival of alpine ski art songs "Prielbrusye" starts.

According to the press service by the regional UFSKN, this year the song event is held under the motto "Caucasus without wars and drugs".

For the amateur song celebration the famous bards from Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia and CIS – such as Mikhail Bashakov, Mikhail Kalinkin, Dmitry Yurkov, Victor Kamensky, Vladimir Khalchevsky, Victor Mishchuk and others – will come. The event  organizer is Russian Federal Drug Control Service of Kabardino-Balkaria, Moscow public organization of assistance to alpine skiing and art song development – Arts Club "Cheget and Me".

The event programme includes the performance of original songs by their authors in the concert hall of “Cheget" hotel , sports activities under the motto "Sport against drugs and terrorism",  children's contests and concerts, "Miss Prielbrusye" contest, press-conference for journalists from central and local media, laying wreaths at the monument to soldiers killed in World War II during the liberation of Elbrus area, rally of off-road cars on the terrain of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic as well as lectures for students of educational institutions of Elbrus municipal district .
