The Marathon "Small Kitezh"

The goals and objectives of the Open regional running marathon "Small Kitezh" are as follows:

- Promotion of running and healthy lifestyle

- Involvement of broad masses of population in doing sports regularly

- Improvement of sports skills

- Identification of the strongest athletes.

The programme features four marathon distances:

- 420 m – for children under 8 years

- 2000 m – for children up to 12 years

- 10,000 m – for boys and girls of up to 18 years, men over 60 and women over 50 years of age

- 42 km 195 m – for boys and girls over 18 years.
