The International Traveling Exhibition "The Beauty of the North: the Visual Arts of Barents Region of 1970-1980"

12 september - 19 october, 2014, Murmansk


The exhibition is one of the largest cultural projects of the countries of Barents region. Four border territories – Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia – take part in the project.

To Murmansk the exhibition will arrive from Norway. The organizer of the event is University of Lapland in Rovaniemi.

The exhibition exposition includes works by 52 artists from Russia, Finland, Norway and Sweden, including paintings by Vitaliy Bubentsov, Nikolay Morozov, Mikhail Kirin.
